Janine Knox de Nigris & Richard Rood

We are delighted to present an afternoon concert of Brahms, Beethoven and Chopin performed by acclaimed musicians Janine Knox de Nigris (piano) and Richard Rood (violin). Janine Knox de Nigris is a graduate of the SUNY-Purchase Conservatory of Music and has performed across the world, with solo recitals at New York's Carnegie Hall and Steinway Hall. Her solo album of piano favorites, "Inspired Journey", is complimentary for ticket holders to this concert.

Richard Rood is a 1st violinist with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and with New York City Opera, a Principal with the American Symphony Orchestra and a member of the America Ballet Theater Orchestra. His recordings have been critically acclaimed, with his Dvorak Discoveries CD recognized by The New York Times as one of their "Five Favorite CDs" for the 2004 Dvorak Centennial.

A reception, which is included in the ticket price, will follow this concert.
